BASILISK Road-Use and Installation Disclaimer

Last updated: 2026-08-02

BASILISK demon-eye projector lights are sold for show, off-road, and static display use only.

Not for public-road use

Colored and animated forward-facing vehicle lights may not be road-legal in your location. They are not road-legal in the UK or EU and may not be road-legal in most US states.

Do not use BASILISK lights on public roads unless you have confirmed that the specific use is legal in your jurisdiction.

You are responsible for checking and following all local laws, inspection rules, equipment requirements, and vehicle regulations before installation or use.

No road-legality guarantee

BASILISK does not guarantee that the product is legal for public-road use, inspection compliant, approved by any road authority, or suitable for any specific vehicle or jurisdiction.

If your vehicle fails an inspection, receives a citation, or must be modified because of local lighting laws, those costs are your responsibility.

Installation disclaimer

The easiest installation path is usually a compatible round fog-light housing. Main-headlight retrofits may require opening and re-sealing the headlight housing and should be treated as advanced custom work.

Installation may require basic 12V electrical knowledge, trimming, brackets, or professional help. Incorrect installation can damage your vehicle or the product.

BASILISK is not responsible for installation labor, removal labor, vehicle damage, wiring errors, inspection failures, fines, or other costs related to installation or use.

Preset animations only

The product plays preset eye, emoticon, and logo modes. It does not automatically track people, react to traffic, detect police cars, or respond to real-world events.
